About Us

Martin Precision, established in 1993, is a highly successful, profitable and growing business located in the industrial belt of Scotland, an area renowned for its engineering expertise.

We manufacture and supply precision engineered components and assemblies to customers in quality critical industries who operate in dynamic and highly competitive markets.  Their success depends on state of the art products, on time deliveries and meeting the most demanding quality standards in the industry.

Our continual investment in new equipment and improved processes allow us to manufacture a variety of products from small threaded parts to components with highly complex geometrical shapes.  With ‘draw to print’ capability, we collaborate with our clients to ensure that design, cost and quality are optimised.  Martin Precision also provides an assembly and kitting service whereby a number of high-quality components of our own manufacture and others are brought together into sub-assemblies ready for delivery directly into our customers delivery lines.

Martin Precision serve as a vital link in the supply chain to some of the world’s best-known companies.  We are committed to working closely with them, playing our part in their mission and our mutual success.

Our portfolio of national, international and customer-specific quality approvals demonstrate our commitment to meet our customer’s needs.  With quality at the heart of everything we do, Martin Precision provides quality and traceability, but most of all, we deliver peace of mind.

Our Team

Martin Precision are committed to building a strong, highly skilled team, focussed on delivering quality parts on time, every time.  To ensure our team have the right skills and capabilities to deliver the level of excellence our customers expect, we invest in their continuous professional development through a variety of on the job and professional training.

We also recognise the importance of nurturing new talent and have recruited a cohort of apprentices every year.

Our apprenticeship programme combines academic with on the job training – where our apprentices are coached and mentored by other members of the team – some of whom also served their apprenticeship here almost 40 years ago!

Martin Precision Engineering - Director

William Martin

Managing Director

As the name implies, William Martin is the founder of Martin Precision.  William is responsible for overseeing sales and business development and is committed to diversifying our customer base, whilst building and maintaining strategic relationships with key customers.

Engineering is in William’s DNA – his early engineering career started in the Middle East on very large projects such as Desalination and Power Station plants. Returning to the UK, his attention turned to steel-making equipment, eventually moving to the world of smaller precise engineered parts found in the energy, medical and aerospace industries.

When not working, you’ll find William running in the beautiful Lanarkshire countryside, training for the British Masters events.  Relaxation is in the garden and when not cutting grass he can be found in the shed which has wood stored for any eventuality.
